Work Experience

 

Christ School, Arden, NC (January 2002 to present)

 

-Serve as the Director of Student Life

 

• Oversee the day to day operations of the school including parent relations, discipline, advisor program, student activities, and residential life for 260 boys, grades 8-12 Serve on the senior administrative team

• Created and implemented a new discipline system

• Created and implemented a residential life curriculum

• Created a Father/Son Weekend program Implemented a new faculty and new student orientation program

 

-Serve as the Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach

 

•   Founded the first lacrosse program in Western North Carolina

•   Led the team to a #1 ranking in the NCISAA for the 2011 season with a record of 15-2

•   Led the team to 6 consecutive conference championships (2 PACIS, 4 CAA)

•   Selected as the “North Carolina Coach of the Year” in 2006

•   Selected as conference coach of the year three times

•   Completed nine consecutive winning seasons including four state semi-final appearances

•   Coached twelve different players who played NCAA lacrosse, including five division 1 players

•   Served on the NCISAA seeding committee for six seasons

 

-Faculty Responsibilities

 

•   Designed and instructed a senior level Psychology course

•   Created and directed the eighth grade Learning Resource Program                

•   Instructed classes for the Learning Resource Department

•   Served as a residential house parent

•   Created and directed Revolution Lacrosse Camp for 120 campers ages 10-18 (sold out 6 out     of 8 years)

•   Served as the sports camp director

•   Assisted the varsity basketball team to a 3-A state championship runner-up

 

Victorian Lacrosse Association: Melbourne, Australia (May 2001-Ocober 2001)

 

-Played semi-professional lacrosse for the MCC lacrosse team

•   Selected the “Best and Fairest” player award for the season.

•   Led the team in scoring.

•   Coached the under-17 aged state team to a 7-2 record.

•   Achieved Dean List

•   Served as a team captain for two seasons

•   Selected as team’s Most Valuable Player for two consecutive seasons

•   Finished seventh in the nation in scoring

•   Set the school record for groundballs in a season
